Why can't I think of a corny title to introduce this blog?

Although I didn't see anything specifically Catholic in it, I saw it listed in the webring, so I guess it belongs in the directory.
As to why one would list G--g-- as among one's favorite blogs, sometimes ignorance is indeed bliss.

"Sorry for the banner ads by scummy ambulence chasers; blogger adds those."
"The EU wants to wet it's beak ..."
"There's no hint that that even occured to John R. Bradley (nice Arabic name!) as even a remote possibility."
"...all that allegedly high-minded rhetoric from the Democrats about "no litmus tests" on abortion are crap."
"The incompentence of Gov. Davis might actually reduce smoking in California by raising the price of cigarettes yet again."
"All he has to do is claim that this is a grand strategy toi reduce cancer ..."
"Apparently, the new govenment for Iraq might be set up in the next few days."
"Now we'll find out if the UN will be able to get off its butt for soemone in blatant non-compliance."
"One thing occurred to me; right now Democrats are despirate to be called unpatriotic right now."

Adam Smith gets tagged by the Talmud.

Eve Tushnet discusses the following quotation, which she attributes to Adam Smith.
"Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent."

Jewish Law beat Mr. Smith to this idea by more than a few centuries.
"... those who are kind to the cruel will one day be cruel to the kind ..."
