General Jenny Craig leads the charge into Iraq. from a single-sentence post at Veritas entitled "Blitz!": "... Lieutenant General Thomas McInerney outlines a strategy for a lightening fast campaign against Saddam." Thursday, October 10, 2002
Now and then, one finds an outrageous assertion by a member of St. Blog's Parish. Michelle, mistress of this fairly new blog, considers the site you are now visiting to be a notable blog. "... Superman-portrayer, Christopher Reeve, who became a quadraplegic after a riding accident." "... click on their search feature, found in the upper-left quandrant of your screen under the title banner." "Go the the London Daily Telegraph and click on their search feature ..." "I dispute its use of a Christian holy day as leverage against the PLO and Palestinean Christians." UPDATE: It didn't work! The self-proclaimed freelance proofreader makes some strange claims in a post dated October 10. "People are entitled to their just deserts." The sand in her eyes must have caused this boo-boo. "Posts are titled." Click here, find the definitions of entitle, and learn something. "[Give me an F!]" I have no idea what this is about, but at least she didn't ask for "UCK". "Em-dashes are indicated by two consecutive hyphens ..." Sorry, the fact that the standard computer keyboard lacks a dash does not make two consecutive hyphens anything other than two hyphens. I don't critique typography here, so if it floats your boat, that's just wonderful. UPDATE 2: Now we know that Alexandra has a sister. I did forget another of Michelle's complaints. In regards to a particular post of mine, she advocated placing a comma and a period inside quotation marks . Since I quote written text on this site, any added punctuation belongs outside quotation marks. Wednesday, October 09, 2002
It's a traditional error at St. Blog's Parish. from Pro Multis, a week-old blog: "Maybe its the fact that it is played without regard to a clock." "He still calls me a "yellow-bellied poltroon" but at least its a step in the right direction." "I've decided its time for a blog from the traditional Catholic perspective." Tuesday, October 08, 2002
Angels in the Blogosphere? At One Pilgrim's Walk, in a post entitled "Thanks, Gerald", the keeper of the list is called "Gerard Seraphim". Monday, October 07, 2002
